You need an SEO Mommy account with your site added. Start the free trial if you don't have one yet.
- 1Open Connectors in Lovable, click + at the top right and choose MCP server.

- 4An SEO Mommy page opens: sign in and click Allow.

Custom connectors work on every Lovable plan. On Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to allow them.
What it can and can't do
- It reads your sites, their checks and their search data in SEO Mommy, and runs our checks on your live site.
- It can't publish, delete or change anything in SEO Mommy, and it never sees your card or billing.
- The code changes are made by your AI builder in your project. You see them there, and nothing goes live until you publish.
- You approve it once on an SEO Mommy page, and you can disconnect it any time under Connect apps in SEO Mommy.
Questions
What is a connector?
A way for an AI app to use another service while it works. With SEO Mommy connected, Lovable or Claude can look up your site's SEO problems and real Google searches by itself, instead of you copying them across.
Do I need an SEO Mommy plan?
You need an SEO Mommy account with an active trial or plan, and your site added to it. The free trial is enough to try it.
Does it change my site by itself?
No. SEO Mommy only gives your AI builder the facts and the fixes. The builder changes your project's code, where you can see every change, and nothing reaches your live site until you publish.
Do I need Google Search Console?
No, but it helps. Without it the fix plan still works; with it connected in SEO Mommy, your AI builder also gets the real searches people use to find each page.
How is this different from Mommy Moves In?
With the connector, your own AI builder does the code changes in the chat. With Mommy Moves In, SEO Mommy makes the changes itself and sends them to you for approval (a pull request on GitHub, or straight to WordPress, Shopify or Webflow).
How do I disconnect it?
In SEO Mommy, open Connect apps and click Disconnect next to the app. You can also remove the connector in the app itself.
